Suneel M Advani is a double graduate in Electrical Engineering and Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. He also holds a degree in Law from Mumbai University. Mr Advani joined Blue Star Limited in March 1969 as a Management Trainee. He held various responsible positions in Blue Star Limited before joining its Board in 1983 as Executive Director. He was elevated to the position of President and Vice Chairman of Blue Star Limited in 1984 and was redesignated as Vice Chairman & Managing Director in 2005.

Mr Advani set up the Software Exports Division in Blue Star Limited in 1983 and oversaw its operations from inception. This Division was later spun off and incorporated as Blue Star Infotech Limited. He was appointed Chairman of the Company in 1998 and in June 2005 was appointed as its Chairman & Managing Director.

ATV is responsible for the global Delivery, Sales, Marketing and RMG functions at Blue Star Infotech. ATV is a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the Madras University and a Bachelor of Technology (Electronics Engineering) from Madras Institute of Technology (affiliated to MIT – Mass. USA).

He had started his career with Blue Star Limited in the HP Division field organization as a trainee sales engineer at Bangalore in 1977. He was then transferred to HP India which was a JV between HP USA and Blue Star Ltd. He has held several Sales Management positions across India, including Country GM for Telecom Sales in India, at HP. He then moved on to become the Center Director for the HP India Software Operations Delivery Center at Chennai, India. He was the first to set up a full fledged HPIT Applications Lab in HPISO, and he took care of both front end engagements with the CIOs/HPIT managers, and back end offshore delivery. In June 03 he joined HP Worldwide Strategic Outsourcing Pursuit team where he worked as Director, Delivery Solutions. He participated in many mega US $ 1B+ ITO Deal pursuits. He has set up and managed Account management and Governance teams in various geographies. His last assignment in HP, prior to joining Blue Star Infotech, was in a Client Director role in their BPO Organization.

Hemant has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Hons) and was ranked 12th by the All India Institute of Chartered Accountants in his final year of CA. His career spans over 20 years. He has worked for both manufacturing and IT firms. His vast experience includes handling Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Admin, HR and Secretarial matters etc

Prior to joining Blue Star Infotech, Hemant was working with Geometric Software Solutions Co. Ltd, where he was responsible for Finance, Accounts, and Taxation matters of the company, as the Chief Finance Officer. He has also worked for companies like Onward Technologies Ltd, Greaves Ltd and A. F. Ferguson & Co. and before that as a trainee with Hoechst Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Sanjeev heads Blue Star Infotech’s American operations as the President of its subsidiary, Blue Star Infotech America Inc., and is based out of its New Jersey office.

With over 22 years of global experience in IT sales and business management, Sanjeev has been associated with leading IT companies including Patni Computer Systems, Marcam Solutions Inc; Digital Equipment Corporation (now HP), Unicorp Industries Ltd and NIIT Ltd. in the past. Prior to joining Blue Star Infotech America, Sanjeev worked as Director & Client Partner with Cognizant Technology Solutions and was responsible for the North America sales of its Consumer Goods Practice.

In his earlier stint at Blue Star Infotech from 2001 to 2005, Sanjeev was the Director for its US East Coast Operations. Sanjeev brings with him strong business, revenue management and relation management skills, extensive hands-on experience and in-depth industry knowledge. He has a proven track record in strategic planning, business expansion and creating customer-centric delivery solutions.

Sanjeev has a MBA (Systems and Marketing) from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, India and a Post Graduate Diploma in Systems Administration.

Deepak Rao, as Vice President, Global Delivery, is responsible for service delivery across all lines of business in Blue Star Infotech. He guides and leads a team of experts in different locations globally and leads the creation and implementation of performance models, tools, best practices and guidelines to ensure quality deliveries and customer satisfaction.

In his earlier role in Blue Star Infotech, Deepak set up and grew the Product Engineering line of business, contributing to over 50% of the company revenues. He successfully set up and managed ODCs with several leading and growing Software Product and High Technology companies and was primarily responsible for customer acquisition strategies, defining engagement models, identifying services covering the entire product life cycle, marketing, presales and sales support and building core delivery teams with a 'product' mind set. During this time, he has also incubated and grown the Independent Testing Practice, the Solutions group and the Design and Architecture group. Prior to that, he has successfully program-managed large complex multi-year enterprise projects in the Manufacturing, Financial Services and Engineering domains at leading organizations such as 3M, Amdocs, Hewlett Packard, Hitachi Medical, Itochu, Philip Morris, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, York International (a Johnson Controls company) to name a few, apart from several start-up and growing organizations. Deepak Rao holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering and Post Graduate Diploma and has over 19 years of experience in implementing technology for fuelling business globally.

Satish Gaonkar heads the Consulting Services Practice at Blue Star Infotech and is primarily responsible for its sales in India.

With an extensive industry experience spanning more than twenty years, his primary expertise is in business-enabling the enterprise through effective usage and alignment of IT. He has crafted IT strategies for many medium to large enterprises and has been instrumental in their successful adoption and implementation across the enterprise. Satish is responsible for seeding Blue Star Infotech’s relationships with Microsoft, Oracle, SAP and SAS in India and has successfully nurtured and grown its Enterprise and Business Intelligence service lines. His deep knowledge of the enterprise and his passion for architecting IT solutions that meet the needs of end-users enables him to define and successfully implement appropriate Enterprise IT roadmaps.

Satish, a Physics graduate from the Mumbai University, started his career in the manufacturing sector focusing on process improvement and reengineering. He subsequently transitioned himself to become a leading IT consultant advising large enterprises on leveraging IT for creating operational efficiencies and business synergies.

Suresh Iyer joined Blue Star Infotech in 1989 as a Software Engineer. He brings more than 20 years of experience in Application Management and Product Engineering. With a BSc (Physics) followed by a BSc (Tech) in Computer Technology, Suresh is primarily responsible for marketing Blue Star Infotech’s services in USA, Europe, UK and India.

He has consulted at leading organizations such as Hewlett-Packard, Northern Telecom, Glaxo Laboratories & Pacific Life and has successfully executed large multi-year projects in domains such as Technology, Travel & Hospitality, Manufacturing, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance. His exposure to countries such as USA, UK, Belgium, India and Malaysia has enabled him to define and successfully execute dual-shore strategies for a number of Fortune 1000 companies. He has worked on outsourcing strategies, product definition, product development & implementation programs, quality programs, legacy transformation programs and process improvement models. His skills, spanning sales, marketing, account management, program management, delivery management and quality management, have been honed through his association with Fortune 1000 organizations, start-ups and high growth companies.

Gerard, in his role as Vice President – HR, spearheads the critical Human Resource function globally and covers key organizational areas such as Recruitment, Learning & Development, Compensation Management and Employee Relations. Gerard believes that a nurturing culture brings the best out of people and creates an environment of pride and belonging.

He has an industry experience of more than 23 years. Prior to Blue Star Infotech, Gerard was with Datamatics Ltd. as Vice President-Human Resource Development for more than 5 years, where he has handled the Overseas HR , HR Management, Recruitment and Resourcing functions. He has also worked with Birla Sun Life Distribution as Head – HRD and has gained significant expertise in managing human resources through his earlier stints with Birla Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services, BUSH and Gujarat Coop Milk Marketing Fed Ltd.

Gerard holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Diploma in Administration Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource and Business Management.
