5. How long is the probation period at Blue Star Infotech Limited?
 
For Campus recruits (freshers) the probation period is one year, while for experienced employees the probation period is for 6 months.
   
6. How are appraisals done at Blue Star Infotech?
 
Blue Star Infotech follows a very transparent process for appraisals wherein step by step feedback is provided to the employees. The appraisal is based on individual performance and merit. The purpose of the appraisal is not only evaluating and rewarding the employees for their performances but also helping create a work climate that is conducive to high levels of commitment, improving performance factors and encouraging continuous updating of knowledge and skills.
   
7. How are the training needs determined at Blue Star Infotech?
 
The training needs are based on Inputs and directions from the Annual Business Plan, Developmental Areas identified at the time of the Annual Performance Appraisal, Software Professionals Training Roadmap, Skills and Roles required for upcoming projects and also on individual needs. The External Training programmes are based on requirements. On a need basis, Business / Functional Heads nominate the employees for external training after the approval of the EVP / Executive Committee.
