The Compensation Strategy of Blue Star Infotech is based on Market Surveys and Flexible Requirements. The Individual Compensation, based on Performance and Skills, is also designed to provide financial stability not only to the employees but also to their family members. Blue Star Infotech focuses on high performance culture and rewards the people who contribute immensely in the company’s growth and profitability. With the belief that the development of the company lies in the growth of its employees, it provides various benefits to its employees.
 
Some of them are:
 
Mediclaim Insurance: The Group Mediclaim Insurance Policy is available to the employees and their family members to provide them stability against financial uncertainties. It insures employees and dependant family members against expenses incurred on hospitalization.
 
Personal Accident Insurance: The employees are covered under Group Personal Accident Insurance policy. This policy covers any contingency arising due to accident irrespective of whether the accident has taken place within or outside office premises.
 
Executive Health Check-Up: Blue Star Infotech is concerned about the health and well being of all its employees .The “Executive Health Check-up” plan by the Company-appointed Doctor, once in a year looks after the health needs of all its employees.
 
Providend Fund: This is applicable to all employees of Blue Star Infotech Limited. A Trust formed by the Company operates the Provident Fund. A certain amount of the Basic monthly salary is deducted and contributed towards the Provident Fund account. Blue Star Infotech also makes an equivalent contribution out of which some percentage is contributed towards the Pension Fund and the balance amount is contributed to the PF account. The employees earn interest as declared by trustees of Blue Star Infotech EPF trust.
 
Superannuation: For employees at the level of Managers and above, Blue Star Infotech contributes a certain amount of the Basic Salary every month to the Superannuation Fund, which is managed by the Trust formed by the company. The benefit is available to all those at the level of managers and above who complete a minimum of one year of service.
 
Employee Referral Scheme: Under the employee referral scheme, existing staff are offered a cash incentive to recommend friends or former colleagues for vacancies within the company.
 
Discount on Blue Star Products: The employees of Blue Star Infotech are also provided discount facilities on various products of Blue Star Limited such as Air-conditioners, Water-Coolers and others.
 
Certification Reimbursement Scheme: The employees have the benefit of availing the reimbursement of the course examination fee for successful completion of various technical certifications.
 
Corporate tie-ups with Financial Institutions for Housing Loans, Personal Loans, and Credit Cards: The company has tie- ups with various financial institutions wherein the employees can avail the benefits of Housing Loans and Personal Loans at rates lower than the current market rates applicable to ordinary individuals. The processing fee is also lower than the market rate. Employees can also avail of credit card facility wherein the processing fee and the annual fee for the first year is completely waived off.
 
Rewards And Recognition Programme: Blue Star Infotech has various recognition programmes to augment the organizational performance, create healthy competition among employees and also to motivate the talent pool by appreciation of high performers. The employees are eligible for the “Awards” irrespective of their geographic locations.
