Some of our success stories include:
- BSIL worked with a subsidiary of a US based 4G mobile and Internet operator, who was challenged due to a cumbersome process, both in terms of effort and time, to reconcile financial and operational data. Report generation was not centralized and lacked analytical capabilities. The subsidiary, which was responsible for content management and developing a unified portal to deliver personalized 4G services for the parent’s end customers, had historical data of over two years and an average data-mart size of 425 GB. BSIL’s end-to-end solution, that included data-mart design, data migration and portal development, generated over 200 reports and also provides a BI dashboard.
- BSIL implemented an end-to-end SAS based solution primarily for ad-hoc query building and reporting and statistical analysis for surveys for The Directorate of Economics & Statistics, Government of Maharashtra, India. The turnkey solution involved migration of legacy data, developing a web based data entry solution and a public portal for report dissemination. The 173 month project accessed a 1.5 TB average sized data-mart and delivered over 345 reports based on 30 years of historical data.
- The client is a leading group of companies in the business of manufacturing and retailing of diamonds with a vast network of self-owned as well as franchisee stores. BSIL used SAS Enterprise BI Solution Framework to provide a single unified view of information from multiple data sources from multiple functions and disparate systems across entities to ease report generation and publishing of ad-hoc reports; eliminating data redundancies. BSIL designed a data-mart using dimensional modeling techniques, which was used as an interface to develop the business layer. Custom reports and KPI-based dashboards were developed and a BI portal was provided for report viewing and sharing. Auditing and Monitoring of all SAS Web Applications was also enabled.
