- BSIL helped a large telecom infrastructure company improve decision making, asset tracking and cash flow management. The company now executes projects 25% faster than before. The company decided to replace existing accounting applications with an integrated solution to automate business processes and put in place a consolidated system which could enable information sharing across multiple locations. BSIL deployed Oracle E-Business Suite including Oracle Financials, Oracle Daily Business Intelligence, Oracle Inventory Management, Oracle Purchasing, and Oracle Order Management. BSIL leveraged Oracle Business Accelerators (OBA) for the implementation. Using OBA, BSIL also reduced the implementation time by 50%.

The company had multiple operating units across different locations. Its process manufacturing scenario was characterized by batch and continuous manufacturing. A significant number of processes were handled through subcontracting and proper material reconciliation was an area of concern. The company was also facing data redundancy issues due to multiple systems working in silos and dealing with different functional areas. BSIL implemented E-Business Suite 11i, which standardized business processes across all functions and also gave the client a better management control over co- and by-products and handling of iterative recycling. The solution enhanced cost control on a real-time basis. It also improved performance on export orders and the delivery process.
