Suneel M Advani is a double graduate in Electrical Engineering and Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. He also holds a degree in Law from Mumbai University. Mr Advani joined Blue Star Limited in March 1969 as a Management Trainee. He held various responsible positions in Blue Star Limited before joining its Board in 1983 as Executive Director. He was elevated to the position of President and Vice Chairman of Blue Star Limited in 1984 and was redesignated as Vice Chairman & Managing Director in 2005.

Mr Advani set up the Software Exports Division in Blue Star Limited in 1983 and oversaw its operations from inception. This Division was later spun off and incorporated as Blue Star Infotech Limited. He was appointed Chairman of the Company in 1998 and in June 2005 was appointed as its Chairman & Managing Director.

Sunil is responsible for managing the Company and formulating and executing long term strategies. He is focused on value creation, profitable growth and achieving company’s vision of becoming a high performance organization. Sunil leads executive relationships with clients, investors and other stakeholders. He serves on the board of BSIL and heads BSIL’s Global Management Committee.

Sunil has over 22 years’ experience in the Information Technology industry across the globe and has held leadership positions at global giants such as IBM, Accenture and Satyam, in the US and Asia.  He is known for building and growing businesses in an aggressive manner. At Accenture, he served as a Partner in California, USA, in the Communication and High Tech businesses.  At IBM Singapore, he has spent over seven years building the business and strategic relationships in the Financial Services Sector.  At Satyam, he led and managed global strategic accounts.  Sunil has also worked in India with Accenture Consulting in the Strategic Services Practice where he has advised several large Indian corporations on globalization, expansion and strategic reviews.

He has wide exposure across multiple industries such as Financial Services, Communication, High-Tech, Industrial and Public sector. He is known for his expertise in developing strong client and partner relationships, passion for building outstanding teams that are global and diverse in nature, and his disciplined focus on execution.

Sunil holds an MBA from Mumbai University. His professional qualifications include executive programs at Wharton & INSEAD. He lives in Palo Alto, California and is a charter member of TiE at Silicon Valley. 

Ramkumar Akella (Ram) was appointed as President and Chief Operating Officer in August, 2011. Ram has over 20 years of experience in building and running business consulting as well as IT organizations. He has held senior leadership positions in organizations such as Accenture, Infosys, Birlasoft & Datamatics, thereby bringing a unique blend of experience in developing strategies, growing businesses and managing operations with Indian and multinational companies, with global responsibilities. 

Till recently, Ram served as the President and COO of Datamatics Global Services, based in Mumbai. Prior to that he ran the European operations of Birlasoft based in London, where he grew the business at a CAGR of over 70% for a period of about 4 years. Ram was a part of the founding team of Infosys BPO, where he was the head of UK & Europe, based in London.

Ram's foundation years were at Accenture, where, for a period of over 12 years, he was part of their Strategic Services Practice, responsible for advising and helping client organizations to articulate and implement business & operating strategy.

Ram is an engineer from IIT Kharagpur and holds an MBA from IIM, Lucknow. 

Suresh Iyer heads the global delivery and marketing functions at Blue Star Infotech.

Suresh has over two decades of experience in the IT industry with extensive exposure to delivering business-impacting IT solutions across a broad range of industries such as Manufacturing, Technology, Travel & Hospitality, BFSI and Media & Entertainment. He has consulted with organizations such as Hewlett-Packard, Northern Telecom, Glaxo Laboratories, Capita Life & Pensions, Microsoft and Pacific Life and has successfully driven large multi-year IT programs in India and globally.

His exposure to countries such as USA, UK, Belgium, India and Malaysia has enabled him to define and successfully execute dual-shore strategies for a  number of clients. He has worked extensively in helping clients devise their enterprise IT and outsourcing strategies including application management outsourcing, outsourced product realization programs, quality and legacy transformation programs, and process improvement models.

His skills span branding, sales & marketing, account management, delivery management and quality have been honed through his association with Fortune 1000 organizations, start-ups and high-growth companies.

Suresh holds a BSc (Physics) followed by a BSc (Tech) in Computer Technology from Mumbai University. 

Doug is responsible for customer solutions strategy, supporting technology partner programs, and leading strategic planning & execution in new disciplines, including Analytics, Mobile Applications, and Cloud Computing.  He serves as the executive liaison between customers, sales & marketing, technology partners and global solutions delivery teams.

Doug has over 25 years of experience as a CTO, VP Engineering & Product Development, and Partner & Principal Consultant in entrepreneurial and Fortune 50/500 companies in transportation, travel & hospitality distribution, commercial software, financial services, and healthcare.  Doug has successfully led a variety of technology  delivery organizations, including packaged software product development, custom software/IT/e-commerce and Analytics/BI, managed services, and Software-as-a-Service.  He has extensive experiences in consulting with C-level and VP/Director level clients in Fortune 500/Global 1000 companies world-wide.

He has worked for a range of IT and Software companies, including American Airlines Decision Technologies (now Sabre Airline Solutions), Network Associates (now McAfee),  BMC Software, and Travelocity.com, and with clients across industries to leverage IT and Analytics to significantly enhance the economic performance of their firms and tangibly improve their competitive market position.  Doug is best known as a leading edge innovator of business technology, and a builder of world-class, global technology solution delivery teams and businesses.

Doug holds a BS cum laude in Mathematical Sciences from Loyola University Maryland, a MS in Operations Research from The Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Industrial & Systems Engineering, and an MBA from SMU's Cox School of Business.  He has published numerous articles on IT/Analytics applications and has been an invited speaker and panelist at conferences, universities, and corporations.

Sudarshan has over two decades experience in leadership positions in the Finance and Accounts / Legal and Secretarial departments. His exposure to multi-cultural / multi-country work environment covers myriad aspects such as implementation of ERP systems, financial planning, business finance, Investments, Treasury operations, Budgeting, MIS, Taxation (Direct and Indirect), Insurance, Contract Management, Corporate Legal /Secretarial, Investor Relations and Regulatory functions. He is the Compliance Officer and Company Secretary of BSIL since 2005.

Prior to BSIL, Sudarshan headed the Finance function at Silverline Technologies Ltd., where he dealt with International issues of capital, listing of securities on international stock exchanges, raising working capital / debts and mergers and acquisitions. His earlier work experiences include important positions in the Finance and Accounts domain at companies such as Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd., Crompton Greaves Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd. and Puriflair India Ltd.

Sudarshan is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. He holds a Bachelor’s (Hons.) degree in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, University of Calcutta.
 

Sanjeev heads Blue Star Infotech’s American operations as the President of its subsidiary, Blue Star Infotech America Inc., and is based out of its New Jersey office.

With over 22 years of global experience in IT sales and business management, Sanjeev has been associated with leading IT companies including Patni Computer Systems, Marcam Solutions Inc; Digital Equipment Corporation (now HP), Unicorp Industries Ltd and NIIT Ltd. in the past. Prior to joining Blue Star Infotech America, Sanjeev worked as Director & Client Partner with Cognizant Technology Solutions and was responsible for the North America sales of its Consumer Goods Practice.

In his earlier stint at Blue Star Infotech from 2001 to 2005, Sanjeev was the Director for its US East Coast Operations. Sanjeev brings with him strong business, revenue management and relation management skills, extensive hands-on experience and in-depth industry knowledge. He has a proven track record in strategic planning, business expansion and creating customer-centric delivery solutions.

Sanjeev has a MBA (Systems and Marketing) from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, India and a Post Graduate Diploma in Systems Administration.

Satish Gaonkar heads the Consulting Services Practice at Blue Star Infotech and is primarily responsible for its sales in India.

With an extensive industry experience spanning more than twenty years, his primary expertise is in business-enabling the enterprise through effective usage and alignment of IT. He has crafted IT strategies for many medium to large enterprises and has been instrumental in their successful adoption and implementation across the enterprise. Satish is responsible for seeding Blue Star Infotech’s relationships with Microsoft, Oracle, SAP and SAS in India and has successfully nurtured and grown its Enterprise and Business Intelligence service lines. His deep knowledge of the enterprise and his passion for architecting IT solutions that meet the needs of end-users enables him to define and successfully implement appropriate Enterprise IT roadmaps.

Satish, a Physics graduate from the Mumbai University, started his career in the manufacturing sector focusing on process improvement and reengineering. He subsequently transitioned himself to become a leading IT consultant advising large enterprises on leveraging IT for creating operational efficiencies and business synergies.

Keyuri has over 25 years of multi-disciplinary experience in Consulting, Finance & Accounting and HR. Her management consulting experience spans across Business Solutions, Human Resources, and ERP Systems Implementation, with companies like Grow Talent, Hay Group, PDI, PricewaterhouseCoopers and A F Ferguson & Co.

Previously, she spent several years in industry as CFO, Supply Chain Head and Business Planning and Systems Head in multinationals like Rohm & Haas and Hindustan Ciba Geigy. Her experience has helped Keyuri develop skills in the areas of people management, building/ optimizing organizational processes, business development and project management.
           
Her strengths lie in her ability to communicate with people across all levels and functions in an organization, excellent execution skills with the ability to foresee and resolve problems and difficult situations. She enjoys the process of understanding what motivates people and helping them develop to their full potential.
